Dr. Liz Dedman finished undergraduate education at the University of Virginia in 1996 and attended medical school at the University of Louisville. A native Louisvillian, she stayed for residency training at Kosair Childrens Hospital. She joined the practice in July of 2003 and became board certified in pediatrics in 2004. Her areas of interest include newborn medicine, breastfeeding, preventive medicine and safe sleep for infants. She is on the Board of Trustees for the Kentucky SIDS Network "in the belief that every child should live" and a member of the Young Physicians Section of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her humble views on parenting continue to evolve as she is currently enjoying her first child, a daughter, born March 2005.
